Flagler College, what kind of security operation are you running? This happened over a loaf of bread. What if this loaf of bread was something more serious? The writer of this article needs to address Administration’s lack of responsibility. This incident is a clear expample of the incompetancy of Flagler’s security department.

P.S. Wasn’t the loaf of bread the property of Mr. Tackett? Al, why didn’t you let the transient eat his bread?

Joe, perhaps you think he should not have been bothered. Perhaps he would, with his aggressiveness, gone on to attack a student for some real or imagined affront?

I merely asked him to come back to the dining room to straighten out the incident, when without provocation he not only struck me but jumped on my back forcing me to the ground, landing on top of me and breaking one of my ribs.

Again, i can’t fathom why you would think I or anyone would deserve to be assaulted.

To be frank (regardless of the situation); Al had it coming.

So just who was this bread-stealing, fist swinging, Kentucky native? Student/non student? The article only states that Christopher Tackett supplied his driver’s license when asked for his ID. Whatever happened to this fellow? He apparently vaporized after he identified himself and delivered old Al a knuckle sandwich (and odd progression, I must admit).
