Student Public Relations organization PRSSA hosts STAND, an all-nighter in the Ringhaver Student Center packed with activities and performances including musician and Flagler alumnus, Brady Reich. The purpose of the event was to raise money for cancer.

Flagler College communication major and graduating senior Alex Bonus was named the Grand Award winner of the second edition of Anthology, a new print publication produced by the the Gargoyle.
The 2012 Anthology, a full-color print publication released earlier this month, showcases students’ work in news, features, opinion, public relations and photography.
Two Flagler College Gargoyle editors and an Advanced Reporting class student won national awards in the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence competition, including a first place finish for opinion writing. This marks the first time a Flagler student has earned a national SPJ award.

Flagler College junior, Nick Carey may look like the average college student, but there is more to him than just studies and college life.
Carey is a volunteer firefighter for the Flagler Beach Fire Department. He has been in training since the beginning of this summer. When the semester started, Carey continued his volunteering at the fire department, while maintaining his class load.

“I only have three weeks to go and we don’t have a name decided,” said Kristen Overton.
Overton is the head softball coach at Flagler College and for the second year in a row, she is expecting to give birth to a child during the season. This will be her second child, but it will be her first girl.
