Music instructor loses cancer battle

Janet Graham, who had taught music appreciation as a visiting instructor at Flagler, died April 6 after a long battle with cancer. She also led the Flagler College Singers.
Graham, 59, was also the organist and Minister of Music at Memorial Presbyterian Church on Valencia Street, adjacent to the college. She had taught at Flagler since 1991, and had directed the singing group since 1995.
Plans for a memorial service have not been set.
