The people you’re talking about are being paid to “bother” you. Personally, I hate it when I can’t find someone to help me when I’m shopping. I used hate having people try to sell me stuff. There have been times when I’ve longed to be a kid again and shop without being bothered (cause kids don’t have any money). I’ve gotten over it though, is it so hard to smile and say “I’m ok, thanks”? Or just completely ignore them, that’s a good one too.
