The English department at Flagler College will host Dr. Kelly Stern as writer in residence this April with public readings April 4 and 5.
Stern has published several writings, both fiction and non-fiction for numerous publications and was an editor for Harcourt Achieve for several years. Additionally, Stern has hosted numerous workshops and presentations pertaining to a variety of English topics.
Hosting both public presentations and classroom discussions, Stern will conduct a public reading on April 4 at 7 p.m. of some of her published creative writing in the Flagler Room at the college. Stern will also host a public lecture on April 5 at 5 p.m. in the Flagler Room.
These events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. For more information, call 819-6315.
